A Place of Honor recounts the lived experiences of veterans and gold star family members from before, through and after the war who found renewed purpose and meaning in their lives when they decided to create the only memorial and museum dedicated to the lives lost in Vietnam.

Determined to stay in the Corps, she pushes her body to the limit, competing in elite-level endurance sports to prove she is still fit to serve. With every grueling challenge, she defies the odds, knowing that even if cancer takes her, the legacy of inspiration she embodies has touched the lives of many.
