ClearCaptions is a free phone captioning service that provides near real-time call captions of phone conversations for individuals whose hearing loss inhibits their phone use. Similar to captions on a television. ClearCaptions allows you to read real-time written call captions of what callers say on our revolutionary home phone, your mobile device, or your computer. This free captioning service is provided by ClearCaptions and paid for through a fund administered by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). There is no cost to qualified individuals whose hearing loss inhibits their phone use. Qualifications – Some form of hearing loss and WI-FI. We provide a caption phone at NO COST that hooks up with phone and internet service that our customers are already paying for. The taxes we all pay on our bill called the universal service fee funds our program. It’s funded under the ADA Title IV. For those customers who still have home phone service, we hook up our phone to their existing service. We now have a phone for our customers that no longer have a land line/home phone service. We are now a phone provider for those with hearing loss. We hook the phone up to their WIFI and we provide our customers with their own personal phone number to call anywhere in the USA for free.
