16th Annual Taking Care of You Caregiver Conference – Aug 2026
Join us for the 16th Annual Caregiver Conference, a special event dedicated to you, the caregiver. This year’s theme, "Taking Care of YOU," focuses on helping caregivers recharge, find balance, and prioritize their own well-being.
We are pleased to welcome keynote speaker Heather Volkema, a Client Success Manager at Trualta, who brings a deep personal and professional commitment to supporting family caregivers. With a background spanning hospice education and awareness, and operating a private-duty home care organization, she has spent her career at the intersection of caregiving and compassion, witnessing firsthand how often the people caring for loved ones quietly carry a burden of their own.
Held at The Rollins Center at Bally’s Hotel and Resort, the conference will feature exhibitors, peer connection, and a full day of meaningful programming:
- 8:30–9:15 AM: Continental breakfast and exhibitors
- 9:15–9:30 AM: Welcome remarks
- 9:30–10:15 AM: Caregiver panel, “What I Do to Take Care of ME!”
- 10:15–10:30 AM: Break and exhibitors
- 10:30–11:30 AM: Keynote session with Heather Volkema
- 11:30 AM–1:00 PM: Lunch and exhibitors
- 1:00–2:00 PM: Take-home activity
- 2:00–2:15 PM: Wrap-up and door prizes
